The newly formed Stowmarket United Reserves travled to Hintlesham to face Foxhall United in the first meeting of the two clubs.

The game started very quickly with a shot for stow in the early minutes of the game just narrowly missing the goal. Foxhall have plenty chances themselves but Ryan Wright in goal having a superb performance getting stuck in and saving loads of one on one's. The first goal comes from Foxhall meaning its work to do for stow. Stow got the message from gaffa Jamie Meadows and with 6 minutes to go till the half Nathan Rumsby whips in a corner and not cleared by Foxhall the ball falls to Jason Eells who knocks it home meaning we go into the half level.

Second half starts and with a few changes at half time to get minutes into the legs of the lads stow fall behind again 2-1 to Foxhall so we fight back again with plenty more chances through Josh Hynard but narrowly missing the goal hower stow do get the goal after a ball in from Josh Hynard finds debutant Stuart Roswell who finds the back of the net to get stow back level. The game can go either way both teams with lots of shots on target but both keepers equal to them however Foxhall would once again go in front after a mix up at the back their pressure paid off 3-2 to Foxhall. Changes made to try and get that goal that stow are looking for with more shots 5 minutes left to play and Stuart Roswell again gets his 2nd goal of the game after a cross ball from Josh Hynard who also gets his 2nd assist of the game and that's how it ended a 6 goal thriller in the first pre season game plenty of positives to take for the upcoming season
